I'm very pleased to announce that the CPT 5 manual is finally available for download. It is a much extended version of the CPT 4 manual. In total it contains 104 pages full of information. Nowadays, quite a few manuals just describe the function and buttons of the program. The CPT 5 manual is a true labour of love and in some regards done in the good old fashioned way. Beside describing all features in detail it goes beyond this. A Common Task and FAQ section covers typical scenarios and questions, which reflect my knowledge and experience of 10 year CPT user support.
Although I'm German I want to outsource the task to translate the English manual into German. If you are a native German speaker I offer you a Pro license valid for 3 years (worth 69€) and of course the fame to get credits in the manual and program. You even don't have to update all the screenshots. I will take care of that.
Any interested CPT user should shoot me a message through the support system.
Thanks!
Stefan

Well done to get this out. I'll have a read through it tomorrow and if I see any glaring errors, I'll let you know. ;)
2 questions:
1. How do I actually 'download' the manual where I can save it on my hard drive? I hate downloading it again every time I want to look something up.
2. Why does the manual say 5.05 when the latest version is 5.04? I 'check for update' and the program says I am running the latest version at 5.04.
If you right-click on the link you get the option to save the target as... and then browse to your preferred location. If you just click on it your browser should ask you if you want to open or save it. In both cases it should be downloaded and save in your downloads folder on your computer.
Feature wise there is no difference between 5.05 and 5.04. Version 5.05 is not out yet.
