If you import a PGN file of a professional opening ebook the author offers often more than one candidate move for your side. However, you want to make sure to train the right move. The next CPT version provide you a powerful new functoin for this scenario.
Sometimes the author offers an alternative to suit different player styles (e.g. more solid or aggressive) and sometimes he just wants to demonstrate that another move is not correct. I was in the same situation recently and decided to add a new function to browse through my whole opening jumping to all positions, where more than one candidate move for my side exists. Then I can check the comment made by the author or navigate through the following positions to decide, which candidate move should be ranked first.
I used this function now to check all my openings for such positions and feel much more confident that always the right candidate move is top-ranked.
Additionally, I have added some info in the status-bar reflecting how many positions of the selected position type exist (not just for the just described case). Please note that you can browse through your opening in a different way by selecting a position type and using the green arrows in the navigation page of the ribbon (check the screenshot). This is a very powerful function you should not miss.
Both new features will be available with the next release.

I really hope that I don't have to use that font. Looking forward to a new release.
No, no! I forgot to change it after I implemented the option to change the font and size. The standard font remains the same as it is at the moment.
Very useful! I'm still using the old stable version of CPT4. I'm using Windows 8 64 bit.
CPT is a bit too slow but I read you found the way to improve it. Also, sometimes it crashes.
But CPT is the only program of this type actively developed and supported.
You know who I'm talking about ... well done !
