Seems like the long way around for a big task...but good luck!

I know it is a big task but this way i am sure not to get rubbish in my files.
Currently i am entering the last few lines of the Sicilian. Then my first task, a file with all openings covered is completed.

Next stage will be the openings i am more interested in, as a correspondence-player, to enter my own analysis in certain lines. For example the Sicilian-Sveshnikov ( 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 cd4 4.Nd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 Nc6)which i play very often.

All the lines i entered are now analyzed with Stockfish-8 at depth 20.

Albert - how are things going with your ECO project?

I ran across something today that might be of some help for you. It can be found by googling Franks Chess Page. The link is: www.amateurschach.de/

One of the downloads is of all the ECO's and he uses the endpoints to run engine vs engine tournaments.

I downloaded a pgn file there and then 'tree'd it' using Chessbase's tree function. I haven't looked at the results much, but it's catching the tranpositions I've checked into.

I stopped my ECO-project and switched to the classification used at www.chessopenings24-7.com/co247-encyclopedia-code-system/

On this site every day there is an update on a certain line, www.chessopenings24-7.com/category/news/

So very easy to import in the correct opening within CPT and keep it more or less uptodate.

I will soon upload the database with all the updates off the 500 keys in it if you want.

I've downloaded his most recent version opening update file.
Seems like one could dump this into CPT...and all the transpositions fall into place.
